Eid Gifts

Eid Gifts

Eid gifts are usually a package of food, some clothes and a toy for the family/children. The aim is to help provide a moment of normality and happiness to those whose lives have been torn apart.
It was said that the reason of the well-known habit of the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) which was to walk to the place of Eid prayer using one route and walk back using another was for the simple reason of being able to see more people and being able to distribute more gifts/charity.
Every year, HAYAT Welfare Foundation distributes Eid gifts to poor families and children to include them in the happiness and celebration enjoyed by the rest of their brethren across the country.
The end of holy month Ramadan is marked by the beginning of Eid-ul-fitr. Ramadan is the ninth of Islamic calendar, which Muslims follow. Ramadan is the month of fasting for Muslims, which last for one month and the end of this Ramadan month marks the beginning of the Eid-ul-fitr. Fitr means to break and thereby Eid turns to be the break the Ramadan fast and all the evils habits.
